Get personalized care
It’s important to have an in-network doctor you see regularly. Your primary care provider (PCP) handles most of your medical needs, including routine tests and preventive care, which are 100% covered.
To help you achieve the best health possible, your PCP will work together with any other doctors or specialists you see. That’s why the first thing you should do in the Blue Cross NC member portal is select an in-network PCP. Don’t wait until you’re sick. Choose your doctor now, so you’re all set when the need arises.
- Log in to the member portal
- Click Find Care
- Click View Provider Options to find or change a PCP
Earn a $25 gift card when you get a wellness visit!
Here's how it works:5
- Schedule an Annual Wellness Visit with your in-network PCP.
- Complete the appointment by 12/15/26.
- At your visit, ask for preventive care screenings and tests that are 100% covered by your plan.
Once your claim has been processed, log in to the Blue Cross NC member portal and select the wellness tab. Follow the directions to redeem your $25 gift card. Please allow 4–6 weeks for your wellness visit reward to process.
Why dental health matters
Ready to leave tobacco behind? Blue Cross NC can help you succeed with two no-cost programs:8
- QuitlineNC offers counseling and nicotine replacement therapy. Call 844-862-7848 (844-8NCQUIT) to get started.
- Pivot is a personalized program to help you quit all forms of tobacco at your own pace. You'll have access to health coaches, nicotine replacement therapy, and a breath sensor to track your progress. (Available on select plans)
As a Blue Cross NC member, you have access to benefits to help you plan for a family, address fertility issues, and care for your reproductive health.

If you are living with or have been recently diagnosed with a chronic condition (such as diabetes or heart disease), it might feel challenging to manage. Your doctor can provide a lot of helpful information, but sometimes it can be hard to remember what to do once you leave the doctor’s office or between visits. This is where the Nurse Support Program can help.9
The Nurse Support Program team includes:

- Diabetes educators
- Pharmacists
- Social workers

If you have diabetes, be sure to take advantage of the many resources, tools, and support options available to you as a Blue Cross NC member.8

To help members stay on top of their treatment and reduce costs, we will waive the deductible for certain diabetic supplies and apply only the coinsurance. To see if you are eligible, complete this questionnaire.
Your mental health is an important part of your overall health. We’re here for you when you need us with:
- Telehealth therapy options
- Care navigators to help you find providers
- Same-day care for eligible members
This new program brings care to your home, at no cost to you. During your 45- to 60- minute HouseCalls visit, a licensed medical professional will:11
- Talk with you about your health history
- Give you a physical exam
- Check that you’re taking all your recommended medications correctly
- Conduct health screenings and labs/tests that make sense for you and can be done at your home
- Answer your questions
- If needed, make referrals and/or work with your doctor
