Your mental health is important, too. You go through a lot physically and emotionally during pregnancy and after the baby arrives. It's OK to need support. Whether you're experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, or just need somebody to talk to, we provide access to care resources that can help.

Maternity services will soon be billed differently to align with updated national guidelines that reflect modern maternity care. This update only affects how services are billed. It does not change your access to care or plan coverage.

This means that instead of receiving one bill that includes several appointments, you will now get a separate bill after each visit with your provider. As a result, you may receive more Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) from Blue Cross NC after you receive care. Your routine prenatal visits and other preventive services will continue to be covered.
