Termination request for dependent coverage

  • If you wish to terminate dependent coverage, please submit the request online by choosing “Cancel Dependents” in your account on the Student Blue portal.
  • Termination requests must be submitted 10 days prior to the first day of the month that coverage is no longer desired.
  • Terminations are available on a monthly basis and effective on the last day of the month.
  • There are no refunds.

Already know you want to enroll in or waive a student health insurance plan?

Each year, you must visit your Student Blue web portal to enroll in health insurance coverage, or to provide proof of coverage under a parent's plan or other insurer, before you can waive coverage with Student Blue.

Are you already registered or a returning student with a previous Student Blue account? The Student Blue portal can help you:

  • Update your profile
  • Check your eligibility for Student Blue health insurance coverage
  • Enroll in or waive Student Blue coverage
  • Get contact information for Student Blue customer service
