Termination request for dependent coverage
- If you wish to terminate dependent coverage, please submit the request online by choosing “Cancel Dependents” in your account on the Student Blue portal.
- Termination requests must be submitted 10 days prior to the first day of the month that coverage is no longer desired.
- Terminations are available on a monthly basis and effective on the last day of the month.
- There are no refunds.
Using your Student Blue web portal
Already know you want to enroll in or waive a student health insurance plan?
Each year, you must visit your Student Blue web portal to enroll in health insurance coverage or to provide proof of coverage under a parent's plan, or other insurer, before you can waive coverage with Student Blue.

- Update your profile.
- Check your eligibility for Student Blue health insurance coverage.
- Enroll in or waive Student Blue coverage.
- Get contact information for Student Blue customer service.
