We’ll keep you covered.
Explore your options as your health plan comes to a close.
What’s going on?
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC) will discontinue its health plans that existed before the Affordable Care Act (ACA) – often called “grandfathered” or “transitional” plans. To avoid a lapse in coverage, Blue Cross NC will move you to an ACA compliant group health plan for 1-50 employees for 2026.
What are my options?
Blue Cross NC will automatically renew your group on an ACA compliant group health plan. If eligible, you can choose a different one from this list.
ACA compliant plans for employers with 1-50 full-time employees
Our fully insured ACA plans have no lifetime maximums for essential health benefits and no waiting periods for pre-existing conditions.
