Code G2076 reminders for our behavioral health providers

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC) would like to remind our Behavioral Health providers that Code G2076 is intended only for new patients starting Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) treatment at an Opioid Treatment Program (OTP). This code represents the initial intake for new patients only, and is considered an add-on code, meaning it must be billed with a primary code.

For subsequent visits or ongoing services, please use the appropriate codes supporting the care provided.
