Updates on Senior Market Administration EOPs Effective July 16

Effective July 16, 2021, additional Senior Market Administration (SMA) explanation of payment (EOP) templates will be migrated to our new print vendor. Providers will see the following impacts of the migration the week of July 19:
- Medicare Advantage EOPs will be available in Blue e on Thursdays (instead of Wednesdays)
- Experience Health EOPs should be available in Blue e on Mondays
In an effort to streamline our processes and optimize our print and digital communications, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC) is migrating the printing of EOPs to a new print vendor. This migration will only impact the Medicare Advantage and Experience Health EOPs. The migration is currently scheduled for July 16, 2021. We will provide a reminder about this change prior to implementation.
