Will the changes to my house be permanent?

Most home safety repairs are permanent. However, you can choose what will be done from the approved list of upgrades. During the initial visit, the Healthy Home Specialist will complete a walk-through of your home, identifying any improvements. Then, you’ll receive a list of proposed repairs in a scope of work.

Prior to any home repairs, you – and your landlord if applicable – will sign a work order authorization to allow the upgrades to be done by the contractor assigned by GHHI. If there are home repairs that you don’t want completed, you can ask that they are taken off the list.
