What are my options for paying my premium bill?
Blue Cross NC offers several methods for you to pay your premium. Premium payments must be made by 5 PM ET to be considered paid that day.
Online
You can log in to the Blue Cross NC member portal to make a payment or set up automatic payments. You or your authorized representative can also make a payment without logging in by paying as a guest.
Accepted payment methods are:
- Bank draft
- Credit card
- Debit card
- PayPal
- Venmo
- Apple Pay or Google Pay (using a supported mobile device)
Phone
Our automated pay-by-phone system is available anytime.
- For individual and family plans, call 800-333-7009
- For Medicare plans, call 844-395-4535
Payments by phone can be made by a debit card, credit card, or bank draft.
Check or money order
To pay a bill with a check or money order, you can mail a check written to "Blue Cross NC" at the address listed on their bill. Include your member ID number on the check and use the provided return envelope to avoid processing delays.
In person
You can pay by check in person only at our Raleigh Blue Cross NC location at:

Raleigh, NC 27617
Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM (excluding holidays)
This is the only location that can accepted check payments.
