Yes. Data received from previous or concurrent payers becomes part of the member’s record maintained by Blue Cross NC. This information may be shared with providers to support care coordination, treatment, and health care operations.

This information may also be shared with other payers through the Payer-to-Payer API when authorized by a member and in accordance with applicable CMS interoperability requirements.
