Lock in your entry age

There are huge advantages to enrolling in Blue Medicare Supplement coverage during the first six months after you enroll in Medicare Part B. When you enroll, you lock in your entry age forever, provided that you stay in your current Blue Medicare Supplement plan.³ Rate adjustments will be made only due to medical inflation or claims experience. So, if you enroll when you are 65, you will always pay the rate of a 65-year old, even when you are 80!

You can not be turned down for Blue Medicare Supplement with BCBSNC if you meet all of the following:

• You are eligible for Medicare
• You enroll within 6 months of enrolling in Medicare Part B
• You are a resident of North Carolina
• You are not covered by certain Medicaid programs
