Blue Medicare Rx coverage is sponsored by Medicare, and is provided through private insurance companies like BCBSNC. When you enroll in our plan, we notify Medicare and they help pay your bill.²

• If you enroll for the first time this year, you may see your prescription drug costs drop by up to 50%¹
• Everyone with Medicare is eligible
• Enrollment is voluntary
• You must sign up if you want this coverage
• Each year, you can choose to purchase coverage for the following year or switch your coverage to a different plan.
• The first day to enroll for coverage in 2007 is November 15, 2006
• If you already have prescription drug coverage, the first day to switch to a different plan is also November 15
• If you have just become eligible for Blue Medicare Rx coverage, or have a special election period, you can apply at any time
