Locating Your Subscriber/Member ID
Your Subscriber/Member ID contains both letters and numbers. It is located in the upper left of your BCBSNC Member ID Card under the name of the primary account holder.
If required, your Member Code is the 2-digit number to the right of a member's name. It may appear at the end of your ID on some documents and/or Medicare cards, but it is typically not needed when completing forms online.

Who can register?
Members, spouses, and dependents on an active policy may register for Member Services. If you purchased a policy online, you are already registered for Member Services. You can log in to www.mybcbsnc.com by entering the same User ID and Password you created during the buying process.
When can I register?
If you purchased an individual policy online, you do not need to register. An account has been created for you. To use Member Services, log in to www.mybcbsnc.com with the User ID and Password you created during the buying process. You'll have access to a limited version of Member Services until your effective date. If you've forgotten your User ID, retrieve it here.
If your policy is purchased through an employer, you can register on or after the day your insurance goes into effect or becomes active.
What information do I need to register?
You'll need your Subscriber ID from your Member ID Card, your date of birth, and your ZIP Code (this should be the most recent mailing address ZIP Code BCBSNC has on file for you.)
What if I don't have my Member ID Card?
A Customer Service agent can help you locate your Subscriber ID so you can register for Member Services. Call us at 1-888-705-7050, 8 a.m. - 9 p.m., M - F.
Can I use my Marketplace ID to register?
No. To register for Member Services, you must use your Subscriber ID found on your BCBSNC Member ID Card.
What if I forgot my User ID or Password?
If you have NEVER logged in to Member Services and have forgotten the User ID or Password that you created when purchasing your policy, you can retrieve it here.
Are my User ID and Password case sensitive?
User IDs are not case sensitive but, Passwords are.
What if I get an error message while I'm registering?
The registration information you enter must match exactly what we have on file for you. Please try to register again.
