Amon Marstiller joined Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina in 2006. He is responsible for directing BCBSNC Foundation and community relations-based positioning, branding and communications initiatives.

Prior to coming to BCBSNC, he managed statewide communications and marketing efforts for the North Carolina Healthy Start Foundation in Raleigh, helping to position the organization at the forefront of women and infant health issues. Before moving to North Carolina, he spent five years practicing public relations in Washington, D.C., working on behalf of national nonprofit organizations, government agencies and cultural institutions.

Amon received his Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from West Virginia Wesleyan College.
