Office-based colonoscopy centers

The practices listed below have been certified by the BCBSNC Credentialing Committee to perform colonoscopies in their offices using conscious sedation. These practices are required to meet specific quality and facility standards.

Please consult your benefit booklet to determine whether this procedure is a covered benefit under your BCBSNC policy.

Some services and supplies received by members in an office setting or in connection with an office visit are in fact outpatient hospital–based services provided by hospital–owned or operated practices. These services and supplies may be subject to your deductible and coinsurance.
