BCBSNC to Provide Flu Vaccine

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina is once again providing free flu shots to our members. To support our physician community in providing vaccinations to their patients, BCBSNC will release flu vaccine for physician use after November 15, as long as the CDC has not announced a vaccine shortage.

The primary purpose of this service is to provide vaccine to those physician offices that have already ordered the vaccine but have experienced a delay in receiving it. As such, the following criteria apply:

• a supply of flu vaccine must already have been ordered from a manufacturer by the physician's practice,
• physicians cannot cancel their original vaccine order, and
• physicians cannot use this service to add to their original order.

To take advantage of this option, please print and fill out this Flu Vaccine Request Form then fax it to 919-765-7291.

Flu vaccine orders will be sent within 3 business days of receipt of the order.
