Update: FEP Claims Processing Migration Complete
In June of 2012, we notified you via Provider News that we would be transitioning the claims processing functions for the Federal Employee Program (FEP) from our Legacy system to our Power MHS system. Last month, we identified technical issues that resulted in the most recent delay for this claims processing system migration. Those technical issues are now resolved and as of May 16, 2013, we’ve transitioned the claims processing system for FEP claims to our Power MHS system.
As a reminder, making the move to the newer Power MHS system allows us to provide better service, expedite claims transactions, improve accuracy, and reduce the costs associated with the many manual processes required for FEP claims processing on the older system.
