Behavioral Health Providers: Please Complete Our Access-to-Care Questionnaire

At Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC), the benefit plans we offer to our members receive National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) accreditation. This accreditation can be utilized by regulators and consumers to assess the quality of care available via the various coverage plans and their affiliated provider networks.

To help maintain NCQA accreditation status, BCBSNC is required to collect access-to-care data on an annual basis from behavioral health providers participating in our preferred provider organization (PPO) and point-of-service (POS) networks.

Behavioral health providers participating in BCBSNC’s PPO and POS networks are asked to respond to this brief questionnaire. The responses you provide will help us identify the collective timeframes applied to appointment availability when ever our members seek in-network behavioral health care services.
