The best thing about Dental Blue for Individuals is how easy it is to use. There is not a network to stay within, which means you can visit any licensed dentist you like. In addition, you do not have to pay a deductible for checkups, diagnostic and preventive services. When it’s time to see a dentist, just follow these no–hassle steps:

1. Call to schedule an appointment with any licensed dentist.
2. Present your BCBSNC ID card at the dentist’s office.
3. File your claim.
4. You will receive the status of your claim in two to three weeks.

NOTE: Dental Blue for Individuals is not part of the covered benefits of any other BCBSNC health plans. It must be purchased separately.
