College students and graduates help make BCBSNC a vital and energetic place to work. That's why we offer summer internships with real-world experience, special events and job positions designed to grow fulfilling careers.

Summer Internship Program

BCBSNC accepts approximately 20-25 interns to work on challenging projects over 10 weeks. Interns also engage in community service projects, educational training and social events.

Example of past internships are in the following areas:

  • Sales & Marketing
  • Software Development
  • Business Analyst
  • Project Coordinating
  • Finance

Entry-Level Job Positions

  • Project Specialist
    Support project managers with the development of projects and programs
  • Financial Analyst
    Interpret corporate financial data related to forecasting and future trends in health care costs
  • Software Developer
    Create, test and implement programs that support our software efforts
  • Software Tester
    Test, evaluate and troubleshoot software projects for quality control
