PlayPrints Across the State

We're working with the North Carolina Recreation and Park Association (NCRPA) to transform open spaces and build healthier communities by installing PlayPrints across the state.

PlayPrints are ground markings, colorful shapes and games painted on existing pavement. These markings encourage the young- and the young at heart- to be more active and imaginative outdoors.

Bring PlayPrints to your own community-apply at the NCRPA website beginning July 6, 2015.

Investing in the Community, Investing in Health

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC) is committed to promoting better health across North Carolina

That's why we launched GO NC!, a partner program with the Nourishing North Carolina initiative that launched in the summer of 2011.

  • GO NC! is a four-year initiative to build healthy lifestyles by encouraging North Carolinians to get outside and get active through the advancement of North Carolina's greenway systems, increased access to public bicycles and the overall promotion of outdoor physical activity.
  • Nourishing North Carolina is a statewide community garden program producing local, healthy foods in each of our state's 100 counties. Learn more.

We hope you agree that both are a good investment in our communities.
