That’s right, we have none! While it is common for customer service representatives to churn through a certain number of calls per hour, ours do not. When you call, you will be heard no matter how much time it takes to get to the bottom of your issue and have it resolved.
You’ll find every effort being made to resolve your issue in a single call. This means we will bring in a third party live during your call when necessary to resolve the issue – whether it’s your doctor, hospital, prior insurance company, or another Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina professional.
We do our best to make sure that you get the most from your benefit plan. We know navigating the health care system can be challenging. So we take pride in our effort to give you comprehensive answers to your benefits questions. We often help our customers understand how to get the most from their benefit plan – even if they did not specifically ask!
Sometimes researching issues can take a bit longer to resolve. But that does not mean taking up more of your time. When your call requires more attention we will call you back as soon as we have the answers.
While we typically do not have long wait times, if you do not want to wait at all, you don’t have to. If you would prefer we call you, we will "Hold your place in line. Once we get to you, we will call you back at the phone number of your choosing.
